Ensure the report includes essential fields such as full legal names, ID numbers, and specific unit standard credits achieved.

Export this student data as a CSV file, ensuring that all sensitive personal information is handled in accordance with your internal POPIA data protection policy. Save the file to a secure, encrypted local drive to prevent unauthorized access to learner records.

Open the CSV file in a spreadsheet application to clean the data, ensuring that currency values for outstanding fees are formatted correctly in ZAR. Remove any unnecessary columns that are not required for your specific design template to minimize the risk of accidental data exposure.

Log in to your Canva account and open the design template you have prepared for your certificates or learner progress reports. Ensure the template contains text boxes that correspond exactly to the headers in your CSV file, such as "Learner Name" and "Credits Earned."
